The "new Messi" ignites a war between Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain

Claudio Echeverri, the River Plate player, nicknamed "the new Messi", has become a struggle for Europe's top players to include him in the upcoming winter transfer window.

The 17-year-old Echeverri drew attention to himself after he scored a “super hat-trick” in the match between Argentina and Brazil in the 2023 FIFA Junior World Cup. Thus, he became the first player in history to score a hat-trick against the Samba country in the World Cups of various age groups.

According to reports from the Spanish press, Real Madrid has been interested in contracting with Echeverri since last April, specifically since his remarkable brilliance with Argentina in the U-17 Copa America.

But now Real Madrid's task seems more difficult than before, as Echeverri is also receiving interest from Paris Saint-Germain, which is ready to make a big financial offer for the Argentine player to join the Parc des Princes.

Echeverri can only be contracted for 25 million euros, which is the value of the release clause in his contract with River Plate.

Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are not the only ones who want to sign Echeverri. Milan and Juventus are also setting their sights on including the "new Messi" alongside Manchester City, which has distinguished relations in Argentina.
