Xavi: Shakhtar is one of my worst games with Barcelona, losing is a shame!

Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez has not celebrated two years as coach of the Catalan club as he would have liked, losing 1-0 to Shakhtar in what he called one of his worst games with the Blaugrana ever.

Barcelona did not succeed in shooting only one ball on Shakhtar's goal over the course of 90 minutes, and with this defeat lost the opportunity to ensure qualification to the round of 16, besides that Porto equalized the balance of points with 9 each, compared to 6 for Shakhtar, and with it the group caught again.

It was Xavi's fifth defeat as a coach with Barcelona in the Champions League groups, more than any other coach in the history of the Blaugrana.

Xavi spoke to the media after the match and expressed his outrage, saying: "We played one of our worst games in two years, we have to criticise ourselves and put things right again."

"Today we were touched by the small details and we didn't understand the game well, we didn't defend or attack well, it's a shame what happened."

"Against Porto we can qualify, we just have to show our character and rely on ourselves to qualify. We've been playing well since the start of the season, but lately things have been different".

Over the course of 15 games before the Clásico, Barcelona won 11, drew 3 and lost only one, while in the last 3 games they were defeated twice and snatched a hard-fought victory against Real Sociedad with a last-minute goal by Ronald Araujo.
