It seems that the specter of injuries will continue to haunt Neymar da Silva's career, this time after he suffered one that seemed somewhat severe during his country's defeat by Brazil against Uruguay in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

In its latest report, Marca newspaper revealed that the Saudi Al Hilal star suffered a sprained ankle, but the duration of his absence from the stadiums is still unknown.
The 31-year-old will undergo more tests during the next few hours to determine the extent of the injury and the duration of the absence, but all indications confirm that he will not be present in the “Blue Wave” match on Friday against Al-Khaleej in the Saudi League.
