Not Al-Ittihad... a new Saudi club trying to sign Mohamed Salah

Al Hilal entered into contact with Mohamed Salah, the Liverpool player, hoping to obtain his services during the upcoming summer Mercato.

The Egyptian international’s contract with Liverpool extends until the summer of 2025, but he is receiving great interest from Saudi clubs, led by Al-Ittihad.

Al-Ittihad's attempts to obtain Salah's services did not stop last summer, before Liverpool refused to sell the player on the last days of the Mercato.

While all reports indicated that Al-Ittihad was the only destination for Salah in Saudi Arabia, the “Le Sport 10” website came out to indicate that Al-Hilal also had a great desire to obtain the signature of the 31-year-old.

According to what the site indicated, there has been communication in recent days between Al Hilal officials and Salah, either to include him this winter in an unexpected surprise, or next summer.

It seems that a major war will break out in the Saudi League because of Salah, as the site confirms that Al-Ittihad will try again to include Salah this winter, and its attempts will not stop next summer either.

It is noteworthy that Salah is Liverpool's top scorer this season, with 18 goals in all tournaments.

Salah is preparing to lead the Egyptian national team in the African Cup of Nations, which starts next January 13, and the Pharaohs are present with Ghana, Mozambique and Cape Verde in the second group.
