Al Hilal achieved an important victory over Al Wahda, with a score of 2-0, in the match that was held between them in the 17th round of the Saudi League.

Saud Abdul Hamid took the lead for Al Hilal in the match that was held at Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium in the 20th minute, before Aleksandar Mitrovic scored the second goal in the 80th minute.

This was the 18th victory for Al Hilal in all tournaments, as the Jorge Jesus battalion has only known victory since last September 21, when they tied 1-1 with Damac.

In general, Al Hilal did not suffer any defeat this season in all tournaments, and Al Wahda’s match was No. 26 in the Blue Wave’s unbeaten streak.

At the same time, Mitrovic continued his pursuit of Cristiano Ronaldo in the struggle for the top scorers in the Saudi League, after he reached his 15th goal this season in the Roshen League, compared to 16 goals for the Don.

With this victory, Al Hilal raised its score of points to 47 at the top of the Roshan League standings, 10 points behind Al Nassr, with a game less for Luis Castro’s squad.

Al-Nasr will not play this round’s match, as it is supposed to meet Al-Ittihad at the top of the week’s matches, but the match was postponed to December 26 for Al-Ameed to participate in the Club World Cup.

As for Al-Wahda, its score of points froze at 22 in ninth place.

It is noteworthy that Al Hilal will face Abha in the next round of the Saudi League on Thursday, December 21, at Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium.
