Abdel-Ilah Al-Omari and Cristiano Ronaldo

Al-Riyadiah newspaper reported that Al-Nassr is about to lose the services of Abdul-Ilah Al-Omari in the Al-Hilal match on Friday evening, due to injury.

It is noteworthy that Al-Nassr occupies second place in the Saudi League standings, 4 points behind Al-Hilal, and has not lost any match since last August in a series extending to 20 matches in all tournaments.

According to the report, Al-Omari did not succeed in recovering in time, and was permanently excluded from Luis Castro’s calculations for the Riyadh derby.

This news may be a major blow to the Portuguese coach and his squad, as the Saudi international was the second center back alongside Aymeric Laporte almost always.

But at the same time, the good news is that Cristiano Ronaldo is ready to play the derby after recovering from the neck injury he suffered in the last Persepolis match.

“The Don” missed Al-Nasr training on Tuesday and trained individually on Wednesday, but he participated in group training normally on Thursday and was ready for the derby.

It is noteworthy that Al-Nasr occupies second place in the Saudi League standings, 4 points behind Al-Hilal, and has not lost any match since last August in a series extending to 20 matches in all tournaments.
