City and Leipzig qualify to the round of 16 and Milan ignite the Champions League group of death



Manchester City and RB Leipzig qualified for the last 16 of the Champions League, following the former beating Young Boys 3-0, while the latter beat Red Star 2-1.


The duo became the first to officially guarantee their qualification for the final price, when the rest of the groups caught on, especially the "Group of Death" that includes Milan, Paris Saint-Germain, Borussia Dortmund and Newcastle.


It all started with the German club's 2-0 win over the English club, then Milan turned a one-goal deficit into a two-goal win over PSG at San Siro.


The cards of the group were intertwined a lot, so the lead became in the hands of Dortmund with 7 points, and behind him Paris Saint-Germain with 6 points, with 5 points for Milan, and Newcastle bottom of the standings with 4 points two rounds before the conclusion.


Atletico Madrid crushed his Scottish counterpart Celtic with 6-0, while Porto ignited the Barcelona group by beating Royal Antwerp and with it equal with the Catalan club with 9 points for both, compared to 6 points for third-placed Shakhtar.
