The Moroccan city of Marrakesh hosted the Best in Africa Awards 2023 ceremony, amid large Arab participation that has become common in recent years.
As is usual, awards were distributed in more than one category, and the prominent feature was the Arab presence and the achievement of awards in this edition to a greater extent than in previous years.
The award includes the period from November 2022 to December 2023, meaning that the 2022 World Cup is taken into account, and accordingly there was a clear advantage for all Moroccan representatives after achieving the semi-finals.
