"Haste" cost Ronaldo 19 million euros!

Tuttosport newspaper reported that Juventus’ lawyer submitted evidence confirming that Cristiano Ronaldo does not have the right to demand the Italian club for 19 million euros in remaining arrears during the Corona pandemic period.

Ronaldo is suing his former club, claiming that he did not receive the remainder of his dues that were agreed to be postponed during the suspension of football activity during the Corona period, amounting to 19 million euros, while Juventus confirmed that it does not owe the Portuguese star anything.

According to the Tutto Sport report, what most supports Juventus’ position in the case is a document signed by Cristiano Ronaldo to the Bianconeri management in order to allow him to move to Manchester United in the summer of 2021, which is a waiver by him of any dues he owes to the Italian club.

Ronaldo was, as the newspaper described, “in a hurry” and just wanted to get out of Juventus at any cost, so he signed this document and through it came the club’s agreement at the end of the summer Mercato of 2021 to make him join Manchester United.

At the same time, there is another document that supports Juventus' claims, which is a wage distribution document that was not actually signed by Ronaldo and therefore has no legal basis as a contract.

Ronaldo had joined Juventus in 2018 for 100 million euros, and the Bianconeri’s most prominent dream for him was to succeed in returning him again to the Champions League title podium.

But over the course of two years, the Don failed in his endeavor in light of the major collapse that Juventus suffered, which led it to lose the Italian League title for the first time in nearly a decade.

During his experience with Juventus, the 38-year-old played 134 matches in all tournaments, during which he scored 101 goals and assisted 22 others.
