Cristiano Ronaldo celebrates breaking the international goals record

Cristiano Ronaldo scored a goal during Portugal's 2-0 victory over Liechtenstein in the Euro 2024 qualifiers, achieving many records that are added to his historical records.


Portugal has guaranteed its presence in the next Euro to be held in Germany, and it is also the only team that has not suffered any defeat and has won every match during the qualifiers so far.


Ronaldo's goal was the 1,111th goal contribution throughout his career, with 865 goals and 246 assists, during 1,195 matches in all tournaments.


Cristiano Ronaldo also became the top scorer in the Euro 2024 qualifiers with 10 goals, and became the all-time top scorer in the qualifiers with 41 goals.


The 38-year-old’s achievements did not stop there. Rather, the Saudi Al-Nassr star became the most victorious player in the history of Euro qualifiers, with 31 victories, surpassing the previous record recorded by Sergio Ramos (30 victories).


Ronaldo's number of international goals with Portugal rose to 128 goals, and he continued to be the top scorer in national teams throughout history.


It is noteworthy that the total number of Ronaldo's goals in 2023, whether with Al-Nasr or the Portuguese national team, reached 46 goals during 50 matches in all tournaments.
