Klopp responds: Will Mohamed Salah move to the Saudi league in January?

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has insisted Mohamed Salah will remain with the Reds until the end of the season, and there is absolutely no intention of allowing him to leave next winter.

Saudi newspapers again linked Salah to joining Al Ittihad in January, and confirmed that the "Al Amid" is preparing a huge new offer to convince the English club to sell the Egyptian international.

The German coach said in the press conference for the Luton Town match: "I don't know anything about this offer, but it's not important, the important thing is that Salah is with us here."

"He didn't tell me anything about it, and I didn't think for a moment to let him go. We never thought about any club being interested in him and hopefully we don't have to."

"He's been enjoying with us lately and you can see he's also in good shape off the pitch."

Salah won the Liverpool Player of the Year award last September, and has so far scored 10 goals in all competitions in the Reds shirt this season, and is the second highest scorer in the Premier League behind Erling Haaland, with 8 goals.
