Although there has been a lot of criticism of Messi's Ballon d'Or, the votes show a huge advantage for the player over all other rivals.

Messi is a Ballon d'Or winner with 462 points, 105 points behind Haaland, who only got 357 points in second place.

Kylian Mbappe, with a total of 270 points, compared to 100 for fourth-placed Kevin De Bruyne.
