Mourinho chooses his ideal formation throughout his career... He excluded stars close to him!

Roma coach Jose Mourinho chose the ideal formation for the players he supervised throughout his career, and as usual, he sparked controversy after excluding some of the biggest stars in the world of football.

Mourinho began his successes with Porto in 2004, then coached Chelsea, Inter, and Real Madrid. He returned to Chelsea again, from where he coached Manchester United, then Tottenham, and finally Roma.

26 championships are the sum of Mourinho’s achievements in his coaching career, which began to decline from 2015 until now.

Mourinho chose only 3 Real Madrid players in his squad, compared to 8 players from Chelsea, and one player from his most successful and popular experience with Inter.

The exceptional coach's list witnessed the exclusion of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Karim Benzema, preferring Didier Drogba over them. The squad also did not contain the name of any player in his last three experiences with United, Tottenham, and Roma.

Despite his special relationship with Xabi Alonso, he was also not in the squad, and perhaps what was most surprising was the exclusion of the godfather of the historic treble at Inter, Wesley Sneijder.

Mourinho did not surprise the world this time when he put Cristiano Ronaldo in the squad, preferring Eden Hazard, one of the most important heroes of his second period with Chelsea, over many wingers who flourished greatly under his command.

Below you will find Mourinho's historic lineup that he chose in an episode with the "Obi One Podcast" program presented by Nigerian former Chelsea star John Obi Mikel.

Goalkeeper: Petr Cech.

Defense line: William Gallas - Ricardo Carvalho - John Terry - Javier Zanetti.

Midfield: Frank Lampard - Claude Makelele - Mesut Ozil.

Attacking line: Cristiano Ronaldo - Didier Drogba - Eden Hazard.
