Mourinho seeks to steal Ancelotti's future position!

Portuguese newspaper UOL reported that Jose Mourinho is very interested in taking over as coach of the Brazilian national team in the coming period.

"Special One"'s contract with his current team, Roma, expires at the end of the current season, and all news indicates that the Portuguese will not renew his contract and will leave in June 2024.

According to a report by the famous Portuguese newspaper, Mourinho sees himself as suitable to lead the current generation of the Brazilian national team, and may offer his services in the coming months to the Brazilian Federation.

Mourinho realizes that the door to leading major teams in football has been closed in his face after recent years in which he practically did not succeed in achieving any significant achievement, so coaching national teams in the next period of his career is the closest option.

But at the same time, Carlo Ancelotti maintains that he is the most likely to coach Brazil next summer, especially since everyone in the Seleção believes that he is the most suitable man to do this job.

The coming weeks may witness the beginning of negotiations between Mourinho and the Brazilian Federation, as the Portuguese coach has his sights set on leading the Samba country in the next Copa America at the latest and preparing well for the World Cup.

Ancelotti had confirmed in recent days that he would not talk about his future, but he indicated that he was very proud to have his name associated with coaching the Brazilian national team.

It is worth noting that Brazil lost the last two matches in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers to Colombia and Argentina, and the defeat in the Super Clásico was the first defeat in its history at its home stadium in the qualifiers.
