The famous journalist "Fabrizio Romano" confirmed that the management of Napoli decided to dismiss Rudi Garcia from his position as coach of the team, and has already settled on the name of his successor.

The southern Italian club lost to Empoli 1-0 in the final minutes of the match held at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium last Sunday.

The defeat was enough for Napoli's management to terminate Garcia’s contract, after also his poor relationship with the club starts like Victor Osimhen and Khevishta Kvaratschillia.

According to Romano, Igor Tudor will take over from the French coach Napoli, and a meeting will bring him together with club owner Aurelio De Laurentiis to finalize all the details in the next few hours.

Tudor's last coaching experience was with Marseille, and he is considered to have achieved success in it, leading the French giants to third place in the league and with it they reach to the Champions League this season.

Tudor has long experiences, coaching Hellas Verona, Udinese and Galatasaray, and was Andrea Pirlo's assistant at Juventus for a year.

The 45-year-old's task will not be easy at Napoli, where Garcia left him in fourth place, a full 10 points behind leaders Juventus, and the team needs to beat Real Madrid in order to qualify for the last 16 of the Champions League.
