In the absence of Salah, Liverpool eliminates Arsenal from the FA Cup (video)

Arsenal exited the FA Cup competition in the third round after losing 2-0 to Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday evening.

Liverpool suffered from the absence of many of its key players, led by Mohamed Salah and Wataru Endo, to participate in the African Cup and the Asian Cup. Virgil van Dijk also suffered from a health problem, as a result of which he also missed the match.

Although the first half had a clear advantage for Arsenal, which wasted many opportunities, Liverpool turned the tables in the second half.

In the 80th minute, Jacob Kewer accidentally scored an own goal from a header, giving Liverpool the lead.

In the last minute, while Arsenal was trying to get back in the score, Luis Diaz scored the second goal from a rebound, killing the Gunners' hopes in their favorite competition, which they had achieved 14 times.

Liverpool joined the list of clubs qualifying for the fourth round, led by Manchester City, after its 5-0 victory over Huddersfield Town and Chelsea.
