Ibrahimovic returns to Milan

Milan officially announced the return of Zlatan Ibrahimovic once again to the club, but this time in the position of senior advisor for ownership and senior management of Red Bird, which owns the Italian club.


Red Bird, the American company that owns AC Milan, announced the appointment of Zlatan Ibrahimovic as an operating partner for its investment portfolio in sports, media and entertainment.


Ibrahim is scheduled to assume the position of senior advisor to Milan's management, and will play an active role in the sporting and commercial operations there.


According to the announcement, Ibrahimovic's responsibilities will be to develop players, promote the global brand and commercial interests of AC Milan, and support special projects of strategic importance, including the club's new stadium.


Ibrahim played for Milan for two years from 2010 to 2012, after which he returned in 2020 for his second spell with the Rossoneri, during which he led them to their first Italian league title in 10 years in 2021, before retiring last year.


As a player, the 42-year-old played 163 matches for Milan in all tournaments, scoring 93 goals and making 35 assists, and now he begins a third spell with the Italian club, but this time in a managerial position.
