Brazilian legend Ronaldo Nazario praised Inter Miami star Lionel Messi, and considered him the most deserving and worthy of the 2023 Ballon d'Or.
The press reports in recent days have confirmed that Messi is the closest to winning the Ballon d'Or in a ceremony next Monday, to add to his historical record and reach the "balloon d'or" eighth in his career.
Ronaldo considered that Messi's coronation with the Golden Ball is very logical, explaining "Achieving the 2022 World Cup was very exceptional, Messi reminds me of what Maradona and Pele did."
"Without a doubt, Messi is the most worthy of this year's Ballon d'Or."
It is worth noting that Messi is competing with 29 other names of football giants such as Mohamed Salah and Kylian Mbappe, for the Ballon d'Or, and in the absence of his long-time rival and the second most crowned award, Cristiano Ronaldo, for the second year in a row.
