Will Abdul Razzak Hamdallah participate against Al-Ahly in the Club World Cup?

Abdul Razzaq Hamdallah, Al-Ittihad Club player

A state of uncertainty dominates Abdel Razzak Hamdallah’s position regarding his presence with Al-Ittihad against Al-Ahly on Friday, in the quarter-finals of the 2023 Club World Cup.

The Moroccan international suffered a front muscle injury against Damac a week ago, and although the injury seemed severe, Marcelo Gallardo was determined to keep Hamdallah on the World Cup roster.

According to Al-Riyadiah newspaper, Hamdallah continued to be absent from Al-Ittihad’s training on Wednesday, and will undergo a medical examination on Thursday to determine his position on the Al-Ahly match.

Most likely, the Moroccan will not succeed in joining the match, and at best he will participate as a substitute in a few minutes of the upcoming Arab derby.

But on a related level, Al-Ittihad regained the services of one of its stars, Abdul Rahman Al-Aboud, who did not participate against Auckland due to injury as well.

From Al-Aboud’s side, what is certain is that he is ready to play the Al-Ahly match, which is scheduled to be held at the Radioactive Jewel Stadium.

It is noteworthy that Al-Ittihad lost the efforts of its defender, Felipe Luiz, in the Club World Cup, after he was injured in the Damac match as well.
