Injuries continue to plague Al-Hilal before the upcoming derby with Al-Nassr, the latest of which was striker Alexander Mitrovic, who failed to participate in Al-Zaeem’s training after returning from participating with the Serbian national team in the Euro 2024 qualifiers.

According to what was revealed by Al-Riyadiah newspaper, Mitrovic is suffering from pain in the foot joint, which threatens him to initially miss the next Al-Hazm match in the Saudi League.

The Blue Club is currently working to secure the return of the Serbian striker and his full readiness to play the Al-Nassr match, which is scheduled for December 1, especially with the many absences that have struck the Jorge Jesus battalion in recent weeks.

Al Hilal already loses the services of Neymar, Milinkovic-Savic, Salem Al-Dossari and Salman Al-Faraj to injury, and the position of the latter trio regarding joining the Al-Nassr match is still unknown until now.

Losing Mitrovic in the derby, or for a period of time in general, would be harsh for Al Hilal, as he is the top scorer for the Blue Wave, as he scored 10 goals in the Saudi League, in addition to 5 other goals in the AFC Champions League and 2 goals in the Saudi King’s Cup.

Al-Hilal leads the Saudi League standings by 4 points from Al-Nassr, and also leads its group in the AFC Champions League and is about to reach the round of 16, with its presence in the quarter-finals of the Saudi King’s Cup.
