African teams have begun to announce their final rosters for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, which will start in January 2024 in Côte d'Ivoire.
The first to announce the list was the Tunisia national team, where Manchester United star, Hannibal Mejbri, was absent from the list, based on his own desire in light of the interest from many clubs in him, and the player’s desire to join one of them and participate directly in January.
The Tunisian team will be led, as is usual, by star Youssef Msakni in his eighth participation in the African Cup, and he will be flanked by Egyptian Al-Ahly star Ali Maaloul, while Zamalek star Hamza Mathlouthi has been excluded despite his recent brilliance.
The Tunisia national team list for the 2023 African Cup of Nations is as follows:
Goalkeepers: Al-Bashir Bin Said - Moez Hassan - Ayman Dahman.
Defense: Montaser Al-Talbi, Yassin Meriah, Ali Al-Abdi, Osama Al-Haddadi, Hamza Al-Jalasi, Alaa Gharam, Yan Valery, Wajdi Kashrida, and Ali Maaloul.
Midfield: Hossam Taqa, Hamza Rafia, Anis bin Suleiman, Issa Al-Aydouni, Muhammad Ali bin Ramadan, Elias Al-Sakhiri, and Muhammad Al-Hajj Mahmoud.
Attack: Youssef Al-Masakani, Haitham Al-Juwaini, Taha Yassin Al-Khanisi, Saif Allah Al-Latif, Bassam Al-Sarafi, Naim Al-Saliti, Mortada Bin Wanas, and Elias Al-Achouri.
In the same context, Walid Regragui announced the list of the Moroccan national team, and the biggest surprise was the exclusion of Abdel Razzaq Hamdallah, despite his brilliance with Al-Ittihad and his presence throughout the last period with the Atlas Lions, as well as Sofiane Rahimi, the Emirati star of Al-Ain.
The list includes for the first time the right-back of Pyramids, Mohamed El-Shaibi, and Sofiane Boufal will also be present despite the injury that kept him out of the field in recent weeks.

Goalkeeper: Yassine Bounou - Mounir El Mohammadi - Mehdi Benabid.
Defense: Ashraf Hakimi - Nayef Akrad - Romain Saiss - Nassir Mazraoui - Yahya Attia Allah - Younes Abdel Hamid - Shadi Riyad - Abdel Kabir Abkar - Mohamed Al-Shaibi.
Midfield: Amir Richardson - Ezzedine Ounahi - Sufyan Amrabat - Osama Al-Azouzi - Salim Amalah - Bilal Al-Khanous - Ismail Al-Sibari - Amin Harith.
Attack: Hakim Ziyech - Amin Adly - Sofiane Boufal - Tarek Tissoudali - Abdel Samad Al Zalzouli - Youssef En-Nesyri - Ayoub El Kaabi.
