A disastrous number for Mohamed Salah with Liverpool, despite all his successes!

Mohamed Salah missed a penalty kick during the first half of the Liverpool-Newcastle match, making him enter Reds history, but through the back door this time.

Salah's missed penalty was the fourth he missed over the past two seasons in the Premier League.

Overall, this was the sixth kick that Salah missed in a Liverpool shirt since joining the Reds in 2017.

Thus, the Egyptian international became the third player who missed most penalty kicks in Liverpool’s history, with 6 kicks (he scored 23 out of 29 kicks).

Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard maintains the worst number of missed penalty kicks, with 9 missed kicks, followed by Michael Owen with 7 kicks, then Salah with 6 kicks.

Salah eventually succeeded against Newcastle in compensating for Liverpool, after scoring the lead goal for his team in the second half, then he succeeded in the final minutes to score another penalty kick.
