AFC Champions League: A crushing victory for Al Hilal and Al Sadd


Al Hilal achieved a sweeping victory over its guest Mumbai City with six null, in the match that was held at Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium "Malaz" in the third round of the AFC Champions League groups.

Serbian Aleksandar Mitrovic scored three goals "hat-trick", while the rest of the six-way came through Mohammed Al-Buraik, Abdulilah Al-Maliki and Milenkovic-Savic.

The win ensured that Al-Hilal reached the seventh point equally with Uzbekistan's Nafbakhour, with the "Blue Wave" outperforming on goal difference, while Mumbai City is bottom of the group without points, and Iran's Nesaji is in third place with three points.


Al-Ittihad wins over Air Force at the last minute

Al-Ittihad was able to lead its group standings after achieving a difficult victory over the Iraqi Air Force with a goal by Abdul Razzaq Hamdallah in the last minute, in the match held at the Radioactive Jewel Stadium.

The "Brigadier" reached the sixth point equally with Iran's Sepahan and each has a game less than third-placed Air Force with 4 points, and AGMK bottom of the group without points.

Al Sadd end Al Faisaly's chances in the AFC Champions League

Qatar's Al Sadd crushed Jordan's Al Faisaly with six clean goals, effectively ending the latter's hopes of crossing the group stage.


The hexagonal "Qatari leader" made him reach the fourth point, two points behind the runner-up Nasaf Karshi of Uzbekistan, while the lead goes to Sharjah of the United Arab Emirates with 7 points, while Al-Faisaly is at the bottom of the standings without points.

It remains to be noted that the West groups qualify for the quarter-finals, along with the top 3 second-placed teams.
