Another resounding fall for Manchester United, and a catastrophic record for the first time in 93 years

Manchester United continued its decline this season, when it lost to West Ham 2-0 in the 18th round of the English Premier League.

West Ham's goals came in the second half, specifically in the 72nd minute through Jarrod Bowen and the 78th minute through Mohamed Kuddus.

With this goal, Jarrod Bowen equaled Mohamed Salah’s number of goals this season in the Premier League, with 11 goals, 3 goals behind top scorer Erling Haaland.

At the same time, this was the fourth consecutive match in which Manchester United failed to score in all competitions, a number that had happened for the first time in 31 years.

This was the 8th defeat in the Premier League, as well as the Carabao Cup defeat by Newcastle, and 4 defeats in the Champions League, for a total of 15 defeats, to equal Erik ten Hag a record that had not occurred in 93 years.

This is the number that United have suffered more than 13 defeats in the pre-Christmas period in a single season, which shows the extent of the Red Devils’ suffering this season.

It is noteworthy that during the last 7 matches in all tournaments, United only won one match, which was against Chelsea 2-1 at Old Trafford.

With this defeat, United's score froze at 28 points in eighth place, while West Ham reached sixth place with 30 points.
