Arteta identifies Jesus and partey's injury and duration of their absence from the pitch


Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has announced the nature of the injuries to the duo Gabriel Jesus and Thomas Partey and the expected duration of their absence.

Jesus was injured during Sevilla's last Champions League match, and for a moment the injury appeared to be strong and could be sidelined for a long time.

Asked by the Spanish coach during the press conference for the Sheffield United match in the Premier League, about Jesus' condition, he replied, "After tests, it became clear that he had a muscle injury."

"We will probably lose him for a few weeks again."


As for Thomas Partey, "he also has a muscle injury and we expect him to be out of action for a few weeks."


Jesus injured his knee at the start of the season and was sidelined throughout August, before returning and scoring 4 goals in 11 games in all competitions.
