Chelsea player's heartbreak after continuing negative results and losing to Everton

Chelsea continued its poor results and lost to its host Everton with a score of 2-0 at Goodison Park in the 16th round of the English Premier League.

Abdoulaye Doucoure gave Everton the lead in the 54th minute, and while Chelsea was looking for an adjustment, Louis Dupin ended the hopes of Mauricio Pochettino's squad for a comeback with the second goal in the 92nd minute.

This defeat is the second consecutive defeat for Chelsea in the Premier League, after the defeat in the last round at the hands of Manchester United 2-1 at Old Trafford.

The Blues fell to 12th place with 19 points, while Everton rose to 17th place with 13 points, noting that 12 points were deducted, which almost put the Toffees in a very different position in the English Premier League standings.

At Kenilworth Road Stadium, Manchester City succeeded in overturning a goal deficit into a thrilling two-goal win against its host, Luton Town.

Adebayo took the lead in the last minute of the first half for Luton Town, before Bernardo Silva and Jack Grealish succeeded in adjusting and taking the lead for the visitors in the 65th and 66th minutes.

This victory was City's first after 4 stumbles, as Pep Guardiola's squad drew with Liverpool, Tottenham, and Chelsea, and lost to Aston Villa.

It is noteworthy that Manchester City played the match without its star, Erling Haaland, after he suffered an injury that will keep him out of the field for an unknown period.

With this result, City's score rose to 33 points in fourth place, only 4 points behind the current leader Liverpool.

It remains to be noted that Fulham swept West Ham at Craven Cottage Stadium and defeated them 5-0 at the same time as the two matches mentioned above.
