Crises haunt the African League early. Change the dates of two games!

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced that the dates of the matches between Wydad and Enyimba, Esperance and TP Mazembe in the second leg of the 2023 CAF League quarter-finals will be changed for various reasons.

The matches were supposed to be played on Wednesday in Morocco and Tunisia, but some incidents in recent hours caused CAF's decision to postpone the match for 24 hours.

Enyimba players have not yet received a visa to enter Morocco, preventing them from travelling from Nigeria, while TP Mazembe has not been able to secure a private plane to take him to Tunisia.

CAF then intervened and succeeded in securing a plane for TP Mazembe, while Enyimba's papers should have been certified and the team will arrive in Morocco on Tuesday evening.

On this basis, the match between Wydad and Enyimba will be played on Thursday at seven pm Moroccan time, while the match between Esperance and TP Mazembe will be played before four in the afternoon Tunisia time at the historic Rades Stadium.

It should be noted that Wydad returned from Nigeria victorious with a goal by Yahya Jubran, while Esperance lost at the Mazembe Stadium in Tanzania, with a goal without reply.
