Derby lineup: Manchester United lose Casemiro, And Rodri's return to City

Manchester United's derby squad for the Manchester City derby has been devoid of Casemiro due to injury.

The Brazil international did not feature in Copenhagen's last Champions League match due to suspension, but Erik ten Hag has announced that his player is suffering from an injury and could miss the derby.

Indeed, ten Hag has announced the derby formation without the Brazilian, who will be replaced by the duo of Scott McTominay and Sofiane Amrabat in the middle of the Red Devils' stadium.

The only surprise in United's formation was Ten Hag's decision to rely on Johnny Evans in place of Raphael Varane, joining Harry Maguire at the heart of the defence, with the Frenchman remaining on the bench.

Manchester United's derby squad was as follows:

Manchester United vs City squad: 4-3-3 Andre Onana Victor Lindelof - Harry Maguire - Johnny Evans - Diogo Dalot Scott McTominay - Sofiane Amrabat - Christian Eriksen Marcus Rashford - Rasmus Hoyland - Bruno Fernandes

Jack Grealish, on the other hand, will be making his debut in a Premier League fixture, and Guardiola has decided to rely on Julian Alvarez and Erling Haaland up front.

Manchester City vs United squad: 3-4-3 Ederson Gvardiol - John Stones - Ruben Diaz - Kyle Walker Bernardo Silva - Rodri - Jack Grealish Phil Foden - Erling Haaland - Julian Alvarez
