The Argentine international wrote "Go cry away" with sarcastic emoji directing his speech to Lothar Matthäus.
Di Maria played a big role in Argentina's World Cup triumph and is one of Lionel Messi's closest friends, so it makes sense for him to defend the Inter Miami star with all his strength.
It is noteworthy that Messi after being crowned with the Ballon d'Or thanked all members of the Argentina national team and considered that they are his "partners" in this award.
