For the first time.. Ten Hag criticizes Rashford in front of the press

Although Manchester United manager Eric ten Hag used to defend Red Devils striker Marcus Rashford in front of the press, for the first time he is making an apparent critique of the English striker's form.

Rashford impressed last season with Ten Hag, so much so that it was the best season of the United star's career digitally, having scored 30 goals in all competitions, and winning Sir Matt Busby's Player of the Year award at Old Trafford.

This season, however, Rashford has only managed to score one goal after 14 games in all competitions, and added to his side's pain when he received a red card against Copenhagen in the Champions League that turned the game upside down, caused the Danish club to win 4-3 and complicate United's situation.

United are preparing to face Luton Town, this time when asked about Rashford, Ten Hag replied: "Of course he's not happy with what he's doing, and we are not happy with his current form too.”

But at the same time, the Dutch coach again sent a message of support to his 25-year-old striker: "When the team improves, he will score goals, I'm sure he will return to his form."

"He's not at his best right now, but I'm sure he'll be back, he can come back in just one game and then he'll continue."
