Al-Ahly was able to achieve third place in the Club World Cup after defeating Urawa Red Diamonds of Japan, 4-2, in the match that was held on Friday at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium.

With this victory, Al-Ahly wins its fourth bronze medal in history, having achieved it previously in 2006, 2020 and 2021.
Al-Ahly lost third place in last year's edition after losing to Brazilian Flamengo 4-2 in Morocco.
Al-Ahly will be immortalized in history as having achieved the most bronze medals in the history of the Club World Cup, especially since this was the last edition of the tournament in its current system.
After this match, Al-Ahly will head to the Emirates to compete in the Egyptian Super Cup in its new look, then rest for a month for Egypt to compete in the African Cup of Nations in Côte d'Ivoire.
