Future and Pyramids match in the Egyptian Super Cup semi-final

Future succeeded in reaching the final of the 2023 Egyptian Super Cup, after defeating Pyramids on penalties, following the end of regular time in a goalless draw.

The penalty shootout between the two teams was historic by all standards, as each team played 17 penalty kicks, which is a record in the history of Egyptian and Arab football.

Pyramids scored 13 penalty kicks, compared to 14 kicks for Future, as Osama Galal missed two penalty kicks amid the brilliance of goalkeeper Mahmoud Abdel Rahim “Gensh”.

Future participated in this competition instead of Zamalek, after the White Knight was punished by not being present in the Super Cup for his apology for not participating in last year’s edition.

Future will wait for the winner of the Al-Ahly and Ceramica Cleopatra match, which will be held at seven in the evening, Egypt time, to face him in the final next Thursday at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium.
