Haaland receives instructions from coach Pep Guardiola

Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola hinted that Erling Haaland may play in the 2023 Club World Cup despite his recent injury.

Everyone was surprised by the Norwegian star's absence from the Luton Town match, despite having played City's previous matches without problems, and then news came out that Haaland would be away from the field in the next two matches as well.

After City's 2-1 victory over Luton, Guardiola was asked about the nature of Haaland's injury and replied, "Haaland's injury is a strain, not a fracture, and I hope he is fit to participate in the Club World Cup."

He also added, "After the Aston Villa match, he was unable to walk, but I spoke to him yesterday and he told me that he feels much better and that he is able to walk and does not feel pain."

He concluded, "For this reason, we must see his condition day after day, and the time he needs to recover from this stress."

Manchester City will begin its matches in the Club World Cup on December 19, facing the winner of the match between Leon of Mexico and Urawa Reds of Japan in the semi-finals.

Before that, City will have to face Red Star in a Champions League win match, then meet Crystal Palace in the English Premier League.
