Guardiola reaches a record high against the “King of Ugly Ball” in Premier League

Manchester City was able to achieve a difficult victory over Everton, 3-1, in the match that was held for the 19th round of the English Premier League.

Jack Harrison gave Everton the lead in the 19th minute, but Phil Foden succeeded in adjusting in the second half in the 53rd minute with a missile that could not be blocked or responded to.

In the 64th minute, Julian Alvarez scored from a penalty kick, then Bernardo Silva ended the home team's chances of a comeback with the third goal in the 83rd minute.

Everton's training is supervised by coach Sean Dyche, who is famous for his reliance on defensive football, or what football fans call "ugly football".

Guardiola, who always relies on fun football, continued to outperform Dyche, and this victory was his 16th in the history of his confrontations with the former Burnley coach, making it the most the Spanish philosopher has defeated in his career.

What is also interesting is that Dyche has never managed to win against Guardiola, either with Burnley previously or now with Everton, and his best result was only one draw in 17 matches that occurred in 2018.

The total number of goals scored by Guardiola's team against Dyche's teams amounted to 52 goals, while Harrison's goal for Everton was only the sixth for the English coach's teams against City Pep.

Thanks to this victory, Manchester City reached 37 points in fourth place, 6 points behind leaders Liverpool, while Everton's score froze at 16 in 17th place.
