Guardiola talks about his quarrel with Nunez and insists: Proud of Manchester City

Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola refused to answer the press's questions about what happened between him and Darwin Nunez at the end of the Liverpool match, and only said, "Nothing."

After the match between the Reds and City ended in a 1-1 draw, and during Guardiola's handshake with Jurgen Klopp, Nunez intervened and they quarreled amid the German coach's attempts to come between them.

After the match, Guardiola was asked about the incident and he replied, "Nothing happened between us. If you want to talk about it, that is inappropriate. I am not disappointed. On the contrary, I am happy. Nothing happened."

As for the match itself, Guardiola said, “I am proud that after 8 years we are still playing this way. We were special today at all levels against a strong team like Liverpool.”

He concluded, "It is a great reward for us that Liverpool scored only two shots on our goal. This indicates the great work we have done."

City's score rose to 29 points at the top of the Premier League standings, but if Arsenal wins over Brentford, Guardiola's squad will lose the lead to Mikel Arteta's squad by a point for the London club.
