The excitement was the headline of the Chelsea vs Manchester City match, which ended in a 4-4 draw at Stamford Bridge at the end of the thirteenth round of the Premier League competition.

Prior to the game, Mohamed Salah scored twice for Liverpool in the Brentford game, leaving him one goal away from Erling Haaland in the Premier League's top scorer fight.

But the Norwegian international responded quickly, when he scored two goals, reaching the 13th goal in the Premier League, compared to Salah's 10.

Besides the scoring struggle, the scenario of the Chelsea-City match was crazy, with the latter taking the lead with Haaland's goal, then the Blues equalized through Thiago Silva and Raheem Sterling advanced, before Akanji equalized in the final minute of the first half.

In the second half, Haaland took the lead again for City, then Nicholas Jackson equalized for Chelsea, but Rodri scored the goal that everyone thought was the goal that killed the game, specifically as it was the 86th minute.

Suddenly, Cole Palmer, the Manchester City player who left last summer for Chelsea, appeared and gave Mauricio Pochettino's battalion the 95th minute from the penalty spot.

It is noteworthy that Pep Guardiola has said that he tried to convince Palmer to stay with City last summer, but the Englishman had a firm desire to leave, and now stun his former team with a goal that ignites the struggle for the top of the Premier League.

Manchester City remain at the top of the English championship with 28 points, one point behind Liverpool and Arsenal, while Chelsea reached 16 points and remain in tenth place.
