Hat-trick as Postecoglou wins premier league manager of the month

The Premier League has announced that Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou has won the Premier League Manager of the Year award for October.

Postecoglou beat Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta, Aston Villa coach Unai Emery and Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp in a crowd vote with the votes of the expert committee to choose the October coach.

The Australian coach led Tottenham to win all their games in October, which no other Premier League club has achieved in the same period.

This is the third consecutive month that Postecoglou has won the Premier League Coach of the Month award, a feat that occurs for the first time in the history of the award, with the same coach achieving it 3 times in the first 3 months.

Ange also joined a list of Premier League coaching legends who have won the award three times in a row: Antonio Conte with Chelsea, Jurgen Klopp with Liverpool and Pep Guardiola with Manchester City.

November has not been the best month yet for Postecoglou with Spurs, as they lost for the first time in the Premier League to Chelsea 4-1, in a match played by Tottenham with 9 men, and with it lost the top of the Premier League to Manchester City.
