Injuries continue to haunt Manchester United.. New duo during victory over Luton Town

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has hinted that Rasmus Højlund and Christian Eriksen could miss the upcoming international break due to injuries during the Luton Town game.

Eriksen came off in the 40th minute of the first half due to injury, then Højlund was injured in the second half but completed the game before being replaced by Ten Hag in the 79th minute by Anthony Martial.

Despite the two injuries, the Reds beat Luton Town with a goal from Victor Lindelof.

Ten Hag said of Højlund ‘s injury: "I can't say anything about it because I don't know, we do an assessment and we have to wait 24 hours for the result."

And about Eriksen "He slipped but it's the same, we have to make the assessment, determine the diagnosis, determine the result and then we'll know where we are,"

But at the same time, he worried the Danes, saying: "Yes, they may miss the international break, it can happen, but I can't give a good assessment now."

United's squad includes several injured players, led by Lisandro Martinez and Casemiro, alongside Aaron Wan-Bissaka as well as Terrell Malasia, Luke Shaw and Amad Diallo, and now Eriksen and Højlund.
