It's not an ordinary goal. Mohamed Salah continues to write history with Liverpool

Mohamed Salah's goal against Nottingham Forest during Liverpool's 3-1 win was no ordinary but rather the Egyptian star's gateway to a string of outstanding figures to add to his track record since his arrival at the English club.

The Egyptian star broke into a list that includes only two Liverpool legends, Harry Chambers and John Aldridge, after scoring in each of the first five games at Anfield this season, which only the former two names did in 1922 and 1987 respectively.

It was Mohamed Salah's 147th goal in the Premier League, with 145 goals for Liverpool and two goals for Chelsea, thus officially becoming the 12th in the list of all-time Premier League goalscorers, ahead of Teddy Sheringham's 146 goals.

It seems that the "Egyptian king" is close to snatching eleventh place as well, as it is only two goals away from Tottenham striker Les Ferdinand, who scored in his career in the English competition 149 goals.

Another remarkable record for the Liverpool star at Anfield, as he continued his scoring streak at the Reds Stadium to extend to 14 consecutive games during which he scored or assisted at least a goal, scoring 15 goals and assisting 3 others.

In total, Salah scored 196 goals in all competitions in a Liverpool shirt, making him 4 goals away from reaching the historic 200th goal by all standards.

It remains to be noted that Salah's goal at Nottingham took his scoring record this season to 8 goals, equal with Tottenham striker Heung-Min Son, and three goals behind the leader Erling Haaland.
