Klopp: Salah looks 19 years old, he is world class and we will realize his value when he retires

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has not stopped praising Mohamed Salah and what he has to offer, even confirming that the Egyptian's body is practically 19 or 20 years old and cannot be in his thirties.

The German coach's remarks came against the backdrop of the goal of the "Egyptian king" against Toulouse in the Europa League, which made him the top scorer of English clubs throughout history in European championships with 43 goals, thus breaking the previous record recorded in the name of Thierry Henry (42 goals).

When asked at the Nottingham press conference about Salah and his records, Klopp replied: "Maybe if I leave him for a moment I will come back and find him breaking a record as well! Even if he hadn't scored against Toulouse, he would have broken that record next week or next month."

"He's a great player and we appreciate him, and I think everyone will appreciate him more when he retires that after that you'll realise how great it is that you've lived through his period."

As for Salah reaching 31, for the German coach, this will not leave an impact on his career, he explained: "He is still just a young player at the highest levels of fitness, I think if we scan him, the majority of his bones will probably be at the age of 19 or 20, because he keeps himself in good shape."

"But I can't compare Mo to other players over 30 because I don't think biologically he's 30."

At the end of his speech, Klopp had a special kind of praise for Salah, when he said: "It is true that he has developed with us at Liverpool since his arrival in a great way, but there is the fact that he has been a world-class player at every stage of his career and that is the best you can say about him."

It is worth noting that Salah is also Liverpool's top scorer this season in all competitions after scoring 9 goals so far, and he is only 5 goals away from reaching the 200th goal in the Reds shirt.
