Manchester United coach Eric Ten Hag announced that Anthony and Rasmus Højlund have returned to training and are ready to participate against Galatasaray in Wednesday's Champions League match.

Before the international break, Højlund suffered a muscle injury that kept him out of Denmark's two matches in the Euro 2024 qualifiers, while Anthony was injured in United's training last week, causing the duo to miss the Everton match on Sunday.

At the press conference for the Galatasaray match, Ten Hag confirmed that the duo had recovered from their injury and could be relied upon in the upcoming Galatasaray match.

The return of Højlund in particular represents a great value for United, as he is the team’s top scorer in the Champions League with 5 goals, in addition to the fact that Marcus Rashford will miss the Galatasaray match after being sent off against Copenhagen in the last round.

At the same time, Casemiro, Lisandro Martinez, Christian Eriksen, Tyrell Malacia and Jonny Evans will continue to be absent due to injury, and Mason Mount has not recovered from the sudden injury that struck him in recent days and prevented him from participating against Everton.

It is noteworthy that the Red Devils regained the services of Luke Shaw in the Everton match as well after a 3-month absence due to a muscle injury.

It is worth noting that United are at the bottom of their group with 3 points, while Galatasaray and Copenhagen are equal with 4 points in second place, and if Ten Hag loses in Turkey, their elimination from the Champions League will be announced.
