Mourinho continues his habits: My team does not have as much money as Guardiola!

Mourinho raises controversy over Pep Guardiola again

Roma coach Jose Mourinho cited Manchester City's strong economic situation and how it helps Pep Guardiola to indicate what he is struggling with in coaching the Giallorossi.

Roma's start to this season was not ideal, and "Special One" believes that his team needs to make signings during the winter transfer period, but he realizes the difficulty of the matter due to the lack of sufficient money to manage the Italian club.

Mourinho said in a press conference, “I am not jealous, but the Citizens paid 80 million for Kalvin Phillips, but he will leave in January and then a new player will come for Guardiola.”

He also added, "As for us, our reality is different. I want to sign 3 or 4 players in the winter, but in reality if we succeed in including one defender, I will be very happy."

Mourinho's contract with Roma is scheduled to expire in the summer of 2024, and so far he has not reached an agreement on the renewal. He commented, saying, "Everything is very clear in my mind. I don't need to think much."

Roma currently occupies fourth place in the Italian League standings with 25 points, and is preparing to play a difficult match against Bologna next week, minus its two stars, Romelu Lukaku, who was suspended and Paulo Dybala, who was injured.
