Not the Champions League.. Guardiola reveals new Manchester City 'dream'

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has identified the Club World Cup title as the next dream his team wants to achieve.

City will participate in the tournament to be held in Saudi Arabia next December after winning the Champions League for the first time in the history of the English club last season.

The Spanish philosopher was asked about participating in the tournament, and he replied: "This is the first time we participate in this tournament, it was necessary to win the Champions League and we finally succeeded in that."

"Our task in the Club World Cup is not easy, the first game is always difficult, I suffered until I reached the final twice with Barcelona."

"The time for the tournament will come and we start preparing for it, it's a dream for us, the players talk about it in the dressing room, everyone here wants to win it."

Guardiola had won the Club World Cup 3 times, the first and second with Barcelona in 2009 and 2011, and his last title was with Bayern Munich in Morocco in 2014.

Manchester City will wait for the winner of the match between Japan's Urawa Reds and Mexico's Club Lyon in the semi-finals.
