Piers Morgan takes advantage of United's downfall to remind Ten Hag of Cristiano Ronaldo's worth!

Famous British broadcaster Piers Morgan mocked Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag after losing to Copenhagen 4-3 in the Champions League, using the name Cristiano Ronaldo.

United terminated the contract with Ronaldo in 2022 after disagreements between him and Ten Hag, before the "Don" came out in an interview with Piers Morgan attacking the club and the coach.

Since then, Morgan has not missed the opportunity to attack Ten Hag, most famously when he said "Good luck in your sleep, genius"after losing 7-0 to Liverpool, in response to the Dutchman's statement that he sleeps well after Ronaldo's departure.

The Reds suffered a third defeat of the season in the Champions League, this time in Denmark against Copenhagen, with the BBC publishing a picture of Ten Hag with signs of disappointment on his face.

Morgan took advantage of the opportunity to attack Ten Hag through his X-account, sarcastically writing on the photo: "I don't need Ronaldo."

Manchester United's current season is very bad, as the team lost 5 Premier League games in 11 weeks, and is close to leave the Champions League, as well as leaving the Carabao Cup early after the 3-0 defeat to Newcastle.

Ten Hag's own future hangs at stake despite assurances from Old Trafford that management still have confidence in the Dutchman's ability to turn things around.

Ronaldo, on the other hand, is the top scorer in the Saudi league with 12 goals, and is living his best period ever with Al Nassr.
