Revealing the name closest to succeeding Ten Hag at Manchester United

Eric ten Hag, coach of Manchester United

The option of Erik ten Hag's departure from Manchester United training has become closer than ever, and various media outlets have even begun to put forward the names that will succeed him on the Old Trafford substitutes bench.

According to the Relivo network, the Manchester United management is planning to sign former Wolverhampton coach Julen Lopetegui if Ten Hag is dismissed from his position in the coming weeks.

The Manufacture management's preference for Lopetegui's option comes in view of his extensive experience in the world of training and his good knowledge of the English Premier League, in addition to his mastery of the English language, and accordingly he will not need a long time to adapt to the Theater of Dreams.

Among the factors that also weigh in Lopetegui's favor is United's management's appreciation for his distinguished work with Wolverhampton last season, after he took over the team in a deplorable state and succeeded in bringing it back to the forefront and presenting good football with minimal capabilities.

At the same time, Lopetegui has a good relationship with several United players such as Varane, Casemiro and Reguilon, having worked with them at Real Madrid previously, and therefore all these factors qualify him to occupy Ten Hag’s seat and save the Red Devils.

On the other hand, Dutch press reports stated that if Ten Hag is dismissed from coaching United, he will most likely coach Borussia Dortmund.

Dortmund is also suffering from very poor results, and its coach, Eden Teresic, may be ousted, and Ten Hag has a very special relationship with Matthias Sammer, the senior management advisor, so all the threads may be intertwined and the Dutchman will go to train the Westphalian Lions.

It is noteworthy that Ten Hag, during his leadership of United this season, lost 12 matches out of 24 in all tournaments, and was eliminated from the Champions League in the group stage, as well as the Carabao Cup in the third round.
