Erik ten Hag, coach of Manchester United, was crowned the best coach of the month in November 2023 in the English Premier League.
The Dutch coach won the award after beating Rob Edwards (Luton), Eddie Howe (Newcastle) and Andoni Iraola (Bournemouth) in the popular vote.
Ten Hag had a distinguished month with United, as he opened it with a difficult victory over Fulham at Craven Cottage with a goal from Bruno Fernandes, then succeeded in repeating the same result against Luton Town at Old Trafford.
As for the last matches of the month, they were very special, when they returned from the trip to Merseyside with a wide victory over Everton 3-0 in a match that witnessed a legendary goal from Alejandro Garnacho.
The award comes in light of many reports that Ten Hag has lost the trust of United players, although most of these allegations were dispelled after the 2-1 victory against Chelsea and how the Red Devils stars showed their solidarity with their coach.
This is the third time that Ten Hag has achieved the title of best in the Premier League, after winning the award in September 2022 and repeating the achievement again in February 2023.
It is noteworthy that Tottenham coach, Ange Postecoglou, dominated this award in the first three months of the season, after his success in leading Spurs to the top of the competition, but he suffered a resounding decline in November and December and was unable to win the last 5 matches
