Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has announced the end of Marcus Rashford's crisis with him and the club, after the England international admitted his mistake.
The story dates back to Sunday night, just hours after United lost the City Derby to Manchester 3-0 at Old Trafford, as Rashford stepped out to a nightclub to celebrate his birthday, infuriating United fans and even officials within the club.
A few hours later United lost for the second time in a row 3-0, this time to Newcastle in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.
There were rumours of a hefty fine for the 26-year-old and possibly excluded from the squad, but Ten Hag denied this and insisted he had "forgiven" Rashford's mistake.
The Dutch coach said at the press conference for the Fulham match: "I spoke to him about it, of course it was unacceptable behaviour but he apologized and it ended up on that."
As for the possibility of fining the England star: "No, unlikely, he didn't go there 48 hours before the next game, so he won't be fined."
"Rashford made a mistake but he's eager to make things right, he'll be with us against Fulham, I see him every day in training and I see what he does, it's not a mistake like that it would be the end of the world."
Rashford exploded last season with Ten Hag and scored 30 goals in all competitions with his best record of all his career, but the 26-year-old has clearly dipped this season, having scored just one goal in 14 games so far.
