The beginning of the end.. Ten Hag loses half of Manchester United's players

Eric ten Hag, coach of Manchester United

It seems that Eric Ten Hag, coach of Manchester United, is living his last days coaching the English club, after Sky Sports reported that the Dutchman had lost the confidence of half of the Red Devils players in the recent period.

United had a very bad start to the season by losing a large number of matches, and so far the team has lost 6 matches in the English Premier League, in addition to being close to bidding farewell to the Champions League in the group stage, and already bidding farewell to the Carabao Cup.

United's senior players complain about Ten Hag's training sessions, which they consider to be useless and based solely on running. In addition, his tactics are "arrogant" and do not give the team what it practically needs on the field.

The morale inside Old Trafford is incredibly low. Everyone does not feel that there is progress or that this team can compete, and all of these things may be a prelude to Ten Hag leaving in the middle of this season.

In this regard, it is noteworthy that the Manchester United administration denied in mid-October its intention to dismiss the Dutch coach when the results worsened, but the matter may change now given that the players themselves do not support their coach.

Since he took over as United coach, many disputes have occurred between Ten Hag and United players, the first and most famous of which was with Cristiano Ronaldo, which led to the Portuguese’s contract with his historic club being terminated, before he quarreled with Jadon Sancho, Raphael Varane, Anthony Martial and others this season.

It is noteworthy that Ten Hag in his first season won the Carabao Cup title and finished third in the English Premier League, while this season he is in seventh place in the Premier League, and has failed to win any major match so far.
