The Moroccan prosecution decided to imprison Wydad club president Saeed En-Nesyri on charges of drug trafficking.

Al-Nusairi was arrested last week on charges of communicating with a drug dealer in Mali and drug trafficking in Morocco.

According to the Spanish News Agency, the prosecution confirmed the charges against Al-Nusairi on Sunday, and placed him in the Okasha prison in Casablanca.

Al-Nusairi faces many charges, not just drug trafficking, which include forgery in official records, concluding agreements related to the possession and promotion of drugs, writing a forged check, as well as money laundering.

The investigation into this case includes 25 defendants, 21 of whom are under arrest, and Al-Nasseri will appear before the investigating judge for a detailed interrogation on January 25.

It is noteworthy that En-Nesyri has been president of Wydad since 2014, and with him the Moroccan club has succeeded in achieving many local and continental titles.
