Video: Salah scores a historic goal in Liverpool's exciting victory over Crystal Palace



Liverpool snatched three very exciting points, after a last-minute victory over its host Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park Stadium, opening the sixteenth round of the English Premier League.


The lead goal for the hosts came in the 57th minute through Jean-Philippe Mateta from a penalty kick, then Andre Ayew received a red card in the 75th minute, which was a major turning point in the match.


In the 76th minute, Mohamed Salah was able to enter the history of Liverpool and the Premier League from their widest gates by scoring the equalizer for the Reds.


This goal was his 200th in all tournaments with Liverpool, and this was his 150th goal in the English Premier League, making him equal with Michael Owen as the tenth all-time top scorer in the prestigious competition.



In the first minute of stoppage time, Harvey Elliott scored the winning goal for Liverpool, which temporarily led them to the top of the Premier League standings.


The victory raised Liverpool's tally to 37 points, one point ahead of Arsenal, before the Gunners play the top match of this round against Aston Villa at 8:30 pm Mecca time.
